UPDATE: London Tube and Rail Strikes – London Tube Strike Suspended
Our visa processing services (based in our London office) are now significantly less likely to be disrupted between Wednesday 4th October and Friday 6th October 2017. This is because the strike originally planned by London Underground drivers for Thursday 5th October 2017 has been suspended following negotiations between the ASLEF Union and London Underground representatives. If you would like more information, please follow this link.
However, the strike originally planned by Southern Rail and Greater Anglia Rail for Thursday 5th October will still go ahead as planned, so there are likely to be delays on routes into and out of London that are operated by these companies. This may lead to some disruption to our visa processing services, however, as mentioned above, due to the suspension of the planned strike on the London Underground, the risk of this is now significantly reduced.
As stated in the original news publication (see below), our visa team will contact you directly if your visa is going to be significantly delayed. However, if you have any questions, or would like additional information on this, please do not hesitate to contact our dedicated visa team on +44 (0) 207 100 7370, or complete a Contact Form on our website, and our team will be happy to be of assistance.
Our visa processing service (based in our London office) may be disrupted from Tuesday 3rd October 2017 until Friday 6th October 2017, due to planned transport strikes in and around London. This means visas may take slightly longer than usual to process during these dates. However, we expect our visa service to completely return to normal on Monday 9th October 2017.
Strikes are planned by RMT (Rail, Maritime and Transport) Union workers for Tuesday 3rd October 2017 and Thursday 5th October 2017 and by ASLEF Union tube workers on Thursday 5th October 2017. Therefore, Southern Rail, Greater Anglia Rail and London Underground services will be severely disrupted between Tuesday 3rd October 2017 and Friday 6th October 2017. These strikes may mean that other transport services are congested. For more information, please follow this link.
