Reminder: Russian Domestic Tickets moving to local time from 1st August
Posted by Lucinda Martin on 26 July 2018 10:25 AM

Domestic trains in Russia have previously operated on Moscow time for their entire journey, even when in a different time zone. This will change from 1st August when tickets for domestic travel will now show departure and arrival times in local time.

This will also affect the restaurant carriages, which have previously operated on Moscow time, but will also move to operate on local time zones.

Train stations have always shown times in both Moscow and local for customer convenience and should continue to do this.

If you have any questions regarding your specific journey and tickets, please contact our travel specialists at travel@realrussia.co.uk
