Fingerprinting to be Introduced for Chinese Visas in the UK
Posted by Lucinda Martin on 01 November 2018 02:41 PM

We have been informed that the Chinese Visa Application centre in London, Manchester and Edinburgh will now be implementing fingerprinting as part of the visa application process for all UK nationals and residents.

This comes into effect from 1st november 2018 for all travellers applying independently, however, the visa application centre has given Real Russia, as a trusted visa agency, a grace period until the 12th November before they will bring in fingeprinting for Real Russia customers.

This means customers who have already begun their application process and those who have submitted their application to the consulate before the 12th will not need to give fingerprints. This gives customers until Friday 9th October to have their application forms submitted to the visa application centre as it is closed on weekends. If you are planning to apply for a chinese visa we would recommend applying as soon as possible.

We will contact any customers who may be required to submit their fingerprints as part of their application.

If you are worried this may effect your visa application please contact our visa experts who will be more than happy to help at visas@realrussia.co.uk

We have only been informed of this change in the last few days and are still waiting for confirmation on the new processes in their entirety. You can follow our Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date as we will share updates with you as soon as we receive them.
